Wintertime

It snowed for the first time this morning, for about an hour, then the sun came out and melted it all and rain/sun/clouds have been taking turns ever since. We can still see snow on the hills 100-200m higher than my flat.

It's not cold though - my window is still wide open all day and all night to keep the place nice and fresh. Surprisingly, no insects have entered through the window to live in my room... back in Vancouver, leaving my balcony door open for a few minutes results in spiders, moths, mosquitoes (in the summer) and even fruit flies sometimes, invading my room.

Tonight is our end-of-semester semi-formal dinner/dance. It should be fun, and I'll put some photos up tomorrow.
